30 Bananas a Day!

"I have bad news for you Tom. I was speaking to a nurse the other day and she told me that it's DANGEROUS to eat more than 4 bananas a day."

It's so difficult not to get angry when people say things like this to you. I just replied that is was absolute ignorant crap and asked what a nurse would know about health anyway considering all they do is treat the sick (apologies to any lfrv nurses who obviously know a lot about health).
It was a friend of my Mom who told me this and she is still down stairs talking to my Mom.

My response immediately after I post this is to go into town and buy 2 massive shopping bags full of bananas and unload them right in front of her! How do you like them apples!!...er bananas...

I had finished a long bike ride and was enjoying a case of about 9 mangoes outside the store on a bench in the sun, peeling them with my pocket knife. A woman saw a mass of peels and a single mango left in my hand and approached me with a shocked look on her face. She then proceeded to ask me how many mangoes I ate and told me that eating that much would give me diabetes and she would know because she is a nurse. She was overweight and had a couple of loafs of fresh white bread in her arms from the bakery. HA! Mangoes will give me diabetes, but white bread is okay and doesn't negatively effect blood sugar at all. Thanks for the health tips lady, you're such a glowing example.
Next time, grab your head woozily, slur your words, and beg, "You're absolutely right!  What was I thinking??  Please please please won't you give me some of your bread?!?  Hurry, it's all...going... blaaack!!!"
This is priceless :D

LMAO!!!

I started 'overeating' fruit back in April 2002. I read Paul Nison's book and learned about Doug Graham and started my fruit crusade. Ive had regular potassium blood tests last year. NEVER had it even close to being high. Its always around 3.8-4.4. You would think that after 9 years of pounding down the high  potassium plant foods and eating a very low sodium diet that I would have issues right?

Even David Wolfe says you will have potassium issues from eating fruit as your staple. You can see how limiting beliefs hurt people/groups.

bahahahahahah do it man - l wana c video footage x
