I went to Sprouts today because it is cheaper that Whole Foods and boy was I glad I did. I was in Pineapple Heaven. There they were a big old table piled high with beautiful golden lucious Pineapples.
Then I saw the price and I know I was standing there with my mouth wide open when I read the sign $1.00 each. Oh my goodness you could have knocked me over with a feather. I just said " THANK YOU JESUS" and started filling my cart.
I bought 5 and may go back and get a bunch more for freezing. My Sprouts does not have the best of what I could find at Whole Foods but sometimes they do surprise me and today was one of those days. The closest Whole Foods is about 19 miles from me and that's a bit to far unless they are having a good sale.
Oh they also had red and green grapes .77 cents a pound and I got a big bag of both...yumm.

When I find a good deal on pineapples I make fresh pineapple juice.
The riper the pineapples are the better the juice is.
