Hey guys,
I was just wondering whats the best exercise I could do for me to achieve skinny thighs.I'm a fan of looking skinny and don't want to bulk up.For as long as I can remember I've always been a pear shape.Since being on the 811 my upper half is skinny very flat stomach etc,but the bottom half is not.Should I just be patient and wait till the fat melts off kinda beginning to think I'm stuck with fat lower half it seems very difficult to get rid of.
Thanks!

In order to slim down in your lower half you just have to do any kind of cardio. The thing is we cannot choose where to slim down and where to gain weigh. When you start burning fat there is no way to control in which part of the body. If you do exercises for thighs, it doesn't mean that you will loose fat in this particular area of the body. The only thing you can control is muscle.

Permalink Reply by kimberley mckee on June 29, 2012 at 5:09am do you ever see a marathon runner with fat thighs?! No! Exercise Cardio and resistance training is key! You will not 'bulk' up it is very hard for woman to get 'big' muscles we don't have the testosterone. www.youtube.com/zuzkalight offers great short 15 mins or so cardio/resistance workouts you can add extra cardio in to lose more weight
Permalink Reply by AJ on June 29, 2012 at 5:46am Maybe you're not supposed to have "skinny thighs." That's determined by bone structure, not fitness. Some people are fit as they come, super lean, even "skinny," and their thighs still touch. You can get results and be incredibly lean from exercise and proper diet, but you might never have a foot wide gap between your legs. To me, this thought process seems to fly a little to close to thinspo mentality =/

Permalink Reply by AJ on June 29, 2012 at 8:25am True true fair enough, definitely glad you never restrict!! In that case, I swear by Hindu squats and any sort of walking uphill(stairs, hiking, incline on the treadmill, etc). Check out videos on Youtube to see what a Hindu squat is, that's how I learned. I can do as few as 10 and feel it the next day haha
