I use a measuring tape around my waist and belly, and theres just mariginal difference after 2 moths of 811 with sometimes rice and salt.
To those of You who have first gained fat, or also didnt loose it, but later did, I would like to ask: "When did the change occur?
It seemes that so many of You just drops fat from day one and I really wonder why I dont and if I ever will?

It seems we are a group that feel we react different to hclfrv lifestyle than most or many. I would Love to hear these stories because I want to stay comitted, inspired and prospering. Its hard to if I dont meet much of results on my own.
To simply hear/read and being able to identify with others have great inspirational power, and thats why I would Loove to hear Your story if it took You more than a couple of months to start to shed body fat, but then did, and actually had a "Freelee experience" (I remember reading she also gained weight in the beginning, but jeez, look at here now. I wanna look like that.. not so strange if I compare my own body with dissatisfaction).
Can You relate to our experiences, ednshell? Thanks for Your Support. Much Love/Yes.

When you ask why it's taking so long for you to lose weight, it could be many factors. No one can really give an answer to you without knowing what you are doing. For instance you originally didn't say that you were eating rice with salt sometimes. Maybe you are under eating, or eating too much fat, or not following proper food combining or not getting enough sleep, etc. So it's always best to include this information when asking for assistance.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "we are a group that feel we react different to hclfrv". You and the 2 others I saw post here having the same problem are all still eating cooked food so you're all transitioning to hclfrv.
The people who have gained weight at first, following the hclfrv lifestyle were former calorie restricters and that is definitely a factor. That's another reason to list your information about past health history when asking for assistance. I have not gained weight on hclfrv myself but I don't have a history of calorie restricting. Have you read Adrienne's post of her 811 journey?
'How to accept fat gain and being a stronger person as a LFRV'
My story has been shared a few times on various threads here, I mean to put it in one place some day. I have seen amazing changes in myself and my family on 811. There are a lot of stories here of people's long term changes on hclfrv if you look around. Here is a good place to start: http://www.30bananasaday.com/page/testify-1 The link is at the top of the 30BAD page under "Testify!"
Permalink Reply by YesicanⓋXE on August 7, 2011 at 7:47pm I been looking but 30bad is getting so huge, I cant really find much that I can identify with
and thats a little scary.
To simply hear more stories from people who actually gave hclfrv many months or years before a visible fatloss would help me with my own commitment and inspiration and others that feel like that too and yes Im not surprised if those people, like I have a history of calorie restriction. I think that most people do if they are not happy with the looks of their body. If it werent: why would fat loss even be an issue to pursue?
Thanx for sharing Your experience and encouragement. Much Love/Yes.

Permalink Reply by YesicanⓋXE on August 7, 2011 at 7:58pm Thats what I wanna know, but after this diskussion I know I will work harder to get fruit instead of those times when I had rice or potato. I will definately kill the salt intake with that.
I think getting some yoga and or meditation back into my Life would do me miracles. Im going to throw my measuring tape away, I will notice anyways if I drop or gain, I dont have to be so obsessive about it.
I will keep drinking water. I will set my alarm at night to indicate that its time to go to sleep rather than in the morning when its time to rise.
Like You, I Love the Lifestyle of hclfrv and I will enjoy it, as well as my Life and my body as is having faith that magical body adjustment will happen at some point.
Much Love and Support to You, lets keep in touch!/Yes

Permalink Reply by Barbo on August 9, 2011 at 2:23am Hi,
I've been doing lfrv since April 1, and I didn't lose tremendous amount fat. I certainly not dropping pounds easily, but after 4 months I started to see changes in my body. It probably will be a slow ride to lose all the extra I'm carrying, but I don't care anymore. I eat super healthy, I exercise daily and I'm loving it! I'm strong, energetic and I feel terrific...the rest will follow.
Don't sweat the inches and the pounds, just have fun! (And yes, skip the rice&salt)
Good luck!
