I just got back from Vanuatu and I'm depressed.
There are bananas growing outside the airport for God's sake! Every 50 metres there are either mangos, bananas, paw paws or coconuts growing. To top it off, all produce is organic because there are no pests on the islands..
This bad boy was $2, I reckon about 4 kilos (10 pounds).
This is the market I got it all from. Open 24 hours, 6 days.
This is my daughter Daisy's lunch..
This was the view from my bungalow. Tough life.
Why did I come home??

Permalink Reply by Dave Jales on November 12, 2011 at 11:24pm It's the second time I've been there, but this was the first time since the fruity lifestyle. While all the others I was traveling with were talking to each other on the way from the airport, my jaw was on the ground looking at the fruit trees lining the streets. Unbelievable.
How do I upload the photos?

There are a few different ways but you can go to below the featured photo on the left side bar and click "add photos"

Daily is so adorable!
Permalink Reply by Dave Jales on November 13, 2011 at 6:12pm It truly is amazing! People come from the outer islands at all times of the day and night. The great thing is at any given time there are varying degrees of ripeness - so always within reach are ripe bananas and paw paw.
