30 Bananas a Day!

Am I lost?
Melons are worst. I just can't eat them. Taste awful. And I have some trouble with ripe bananas too. Mangoes is tooo sweet and, and pineapple feels too sour...

Someone had these problems? Is it a problem? Can a still eat 811 without these fruits?

Some help please..

I know a lot of people that eat salt ON fruit - I used to be guilty of this myself. Mainly on watermelons or grapefruits. It's unthinkable to me now though.
oh you are not alone i hate the huge green melons too they make me have a headache and i do feel so sick when i eat them , pineaples makes my mouth feel like it was under knives, but i will keep trying to eat them later when i am 1 month or so 811, perharps its because i am still transition thats why i cant stand them .
i believe every human being was created to be 811 and its only becoz we have been brot up cooked it s harder to be raw for some of us, but it is possible and 811 should definately be pursued, better sooner now even than later
yeah, agree! I feel like its hard to eat sooo much fruits. I love berries and grapes.. I grew up with those fruits. First time I tasted a melon it felt like death. TOOO SWEET! I use to eat extremely-unripe currants too (green color)...but thats not right is it? haha.
Im looking forward to see how my diet is changing, I hope someday i could eat a whole melon without feeling sick..
I do love the other varieties tho, just not the green ones , m jealous!
really? :O
Have you ever tried musk melon? OMG, to die for! Or a really ripe and sweet honey dew? You just can't beat the hydration.
love love love cantalope melons , yum,oh yeah.
Hi Johanne,

why should you eat something that doesn't taste good? It will just leave you feel bad, and if you are feeling bad, you cannot be healthy! Food itself is just one aspect of perfect health - try to avoid things that harm you and start to feel great! There is such a big variety of fruits and veggies out there, so only pick the ones you truely love and indulge on them. Maybe your taste buds will change and you start craving melons and mangoes - who knows? Until then enjoy the fruit you love.

Love,
Kathrin

P.S. are mangoes just too sweet for you? If you still like the taste of them, maybe you could try to mix them with some non-sweet fruits or greens (green smoothies, or make a sauce of tomatoes and mangoes). When adding greens to my smoothies I actually want a really sweet fruit so that the smoothie doesn't taste too 'green'
thanks for advice Kathrin :)
I've tried to mix them. Yes, I feel extremely great with lfrv, nothing is wrong, I just can't stand those fruits, thats the problem. But if its not a problem then I will just continue feeling great without them. I just think its easier to variate when someone is telling you how to combine things and make other recipes, and I just wondered how I could do that when its mango, melons and/or pineapples in every recipe? I guess i have to be creative.

Thank u <3
I have trouble with ripe bananas too. What I do is that I freeze them when they are really ripe and eat them in a smoothie (with only water). It makes all the difference in the world, seriously, it taste SOOOO good!!! That's my trick for bananas... ;)
I used to think I was totally allergic to pineapples because every time I tried a fresh pineapple my mouth and lips would start to sting and burn and my tongue would feel it was on fire. It turns out that I was eating them when they were not fully ripe.

I buy about four or five pineapples at a time now and leave them to ripen, sometimes for nearly two weeks. I hate the way they sell them here with labels saying "perfectly ripe and ready to eat" on them! They are bright green and no-one could enjoy them. It is hard to get them exactly right as occasionally I wait too long and they go off and taste rotten but when I get it just right I think there's nothing nicer.

The one and only time I tasted a mango I hated it - I have never given them a go again but I am going to try. I find my tastes have changed hugely since being on 80/10/10. I was a vegetarian for nearly 20 years but didn't actually like fruit much - now I love it!

Another picky thing I have is that I can't imagine anything worse than a banana smoothie (I love bananas but have always hated "banana flavoured" things). I ate 8 ripe bananas with medjool dates for lunch today, though.
