30 Bananas a Day!

I surrendered to temptation, now I´m sorry, specially because I was doing so great, this is my 5th day and this is the first time I failed, I know I can always start again but I can´t help feeling awful, I think I´m not eating enough, today I had an extra large smoothie with greens a huge mango and half pineapple, lunch  bananas, half papaya and 1large watermelon bowl, dinner I had 1 french lettuce and 1 avocado, but when I came back from lunch my boyfriend was having potatoes cooked with tomato and beans with baked corn chips and I could not help get some. I dream  about cooked food I think this is because I´m not eating enough, well tomorrow is a new day, I wish I could buy dates but they are so incredibly expensive here in Mexico it's just ridiculous.

Dreaming about cooked food = need more calories.  

You don't need to tell yourself you failed.  You had 15 meals raw vegan, and 1 meal of vegan cooked food.  You're doing awesome!

Don't beat yourself up.  Tomorrow is a new day -- you still did a great thing for your body during the last five days.  Plus, I do not believe eating cooked food is such a terrible sin here.  In fact, it is allowed and counts towards the 80-10-10 rule -- with the caveat that raw fruits is the best way to get there.  

thanks, I should feel better becuase i didn´t have a vegan muffin and a coffee for breakfast, that was the hardest thing to give up, I thank you for the support!!

Don't worry. I am struggling as well. We have 3 kids, 2 teenage boys and my daughter is 10. No one else in my house wants to go 811 with me. So, I end up cooking the meals for them and try to maintain myself. It's not easy and there are days I slip. I just make sure that the next day I start fresh and I don't let it keep me from trying. 

I know part of my slip ups is because I need to eat more calories but ithe other part is mental. Food can be an addiction that we have to overcome. Especially, after you've eaten a certain way for all these years. Just don't let it get you down, as time goes on, the cravings will get less and less until they are gone. (at least this is what I keep telling myself. : p) 

I know exactly what you are talking about, I do great when I do my breakfast and at the office i carry  a lot of fruit in a large bag, my coworkers think I´m crazy for carrying so much fruit with me, but the problem is dunner when I come home with my boyfriend he always manage to have great smelling vegan stuff cooking when I arrive so I guess I need to eat a lot more before I get home. Thanks for the support!!!

I've been trying to make sure I eat just before I start cooking. That has seemed to help. But, man...the fact that I KNOW what I am cooking tastes so good. Lol I feel like Pavlovs dog. : )

It's alright to fall off the wagon. Every time you slip up, you realize the truth a little more. The truth is is that your body does not really want that cooked food, it wants to be ALIVE and VIBRANT eating it's natural food. You CAN do this ; )
