Organic is the way to go if you can.
Permalink Reply by StyleStacker on February 16, 2012 at 7:00am I don't understand the peel eating thing, are you going to start eating the peel because of that article?
Permalink Reply by IzaOr on February 16, 2012 at 7:04am of course not, however. Whenever I'm not eating the peel (ie. banana) I don't care if it's organic or not organic. I always assumed that the herbicides and pesticides stayed on the outside because of the plants natural waxy exterior.

I have bought almost all of my food organic for 20 years, there is a big difference and now I have discovered what an even bigger difference there is 9in food grown in soil that has been remineralized. The lettuce I grow at home (remineralized) has at least ten times the vitamin and mineral content than any organic store bought or farmer's market lettuce I have bought. http://remineralize.org/
A great resource to look up what is on your conventional vs. organic store bought food is http://www.whatsonmyfood.org/
