When ever we starve we are gonna BINGE!
Nothing personal against this lady, just highlighting this common mistake perpetuated by 'gurus' that say you need to eat little and 'temper your appetite'.
Watch this ladies videos to learn why fasting/juicing/starving for weight loss is the WORST thing you can do!! She is stuck in the binge/purge cycle. She is stuck in the 'must discipline myself for caving into my natural desires for caloric sufficiency..'.
A classic example of what happens when we undereat on the right carbs. This lady will take years to get back in shape IF she stops to think and see the constant mistakes she is doing. Most likely she will just get bigger and bigger and say 'oh no! you don't understand me! I need very little food to thrive and Im an emotional eater...'
Face palm.

Doug makes a point of saying in his own book that juicing is detrimental to health as it does not contain all micro and macro nutrients in proper ratio, so is by definition nutrient deficient. No way would he support someone starving on juice for weeks at a time.
Permalink Reply by Dovima on I never had a weight problem until I did extensive juice fasting. I lost control of self-discipline after that. It was like my inner-child violently lashed out after being starved. But I did cure severe tinnitius with fasting.
Now I accept that I'm on the slow boat to China with the weight loss.
Permalink Reply by Dovima on Oh, I did want to add......a few years ago there was a woman doing a 40 day water fast who had a newborn baby. She was active on raw vegan sites like Raw Food Talk. Everyone was cheering her on. Like the most important thing is weight loss and instead of nurturing your baby! It kinda upset me. I asked her if she was breastfeeding and she wouldn't answer me. Bet it didn't do her any good in the long run!
