I was watching videos on youtube from Duranrider and freelee and she said she drank/ate:
1 litre water when she woke up
2 litres orange juice for breakfast
15 bananas for lunch
15 bananas for dinner
She drinks 3 litres of water a day ( or at least the day she was talking about)
What I want to know is how can one not get full from all those bananas I get full from like 5. How can I make room for more? And doesn'n it get boring eating all those bananas every day?
How do you guys eat the bananas? Like they are? Smoothie? what?
And after a workout I have heard it is best with a green smoothie or green juice from Yuri Elkaims advices.

Permalink Reply by Jon Fergus on July 25, 2012 at 1:59pm Switch it up... no need to only eat bananas. Eat whatever you can get your hands on that's ripe, but make sure to get enough cals (2500+). That's the best rule to set.
Your stomach will get more elastic over time if you work at it, and it will become less and less uncomfortable to be truly full.
Two tricks I've use to stretch my stomach:
1. smoothies. Much easier to 'eat' large quantities when its liquified. Used to be difficult, but now I can pound back a 6-8 banana smoothy in 5 minutes with no discomfort at all - and I have about a 29" waist (you'd think there's be no room, but there is ;).
2. watermelon! Just dig in and eat all you can. Over time you'll find it gets easier to eat large quantities. Watermelon is easy because it's 'light', so you can eat large quantities without feeling weighed down. (just be prepared to pee a lot ;P)

Permalink Reply by Marlene on July 25, 2012 at 6:03pm you need to, or let's say me, so i MUST be hydrated and i need way more than 3L a day. also when i eat lots of greens in the evening than i get more hungry generally. and when you've had a 10 banana smoothie a few times, just want it, you remember the feeling
Permalink Reply by Reed on July 25, 2012 at 6:23pm Water intake has so many variables on this diet. The you "must" drink 8 or 12 glasses of water a day statement is almost meaningless and makes me laugh.
I'm at about 6K calories a day and should be at 7-8K within 2-3 months.
40 pounds of cut skinned water melon has about 5700 calories. That's the weight of 4.8 gallons of water. If that's all I ate that day and night and drank no water, I doubt I would be drinking much water as I just "ate" almost 4.5 gallons of water. If anything, I over consumed water and will using the restroom all day. Add heat, lot's of exercise and sweating and I might have hit a balance.
Switch to dried fruits and I would need 1 - 1.5 gallons of extra water as I would dehydrate some after every meal. Add heat, lot's of exercise and sweating and I might need 3-4 gallons of extra water.
Permalink Reply by Jon Fergus on July 25, 2012 at 6:45pm Ya, there's really no sense in trying to quantitatively measure our water intake from day to day. So many other variables are just as important: climate, which fruits we're eating, activity level, etc., etc..
The "golden" rule (pun intended) is clear urine. So long as it's clear, we're hydrated. When it's colored, we're dehydrated. Simple. Easy. No need for measurements.

Permalink Reply by Luk on July 26, 2012 at 7:13am you do not have to eat 30 bananas every single day if you do not want to LOL. There are many other fruits to enjoy. 30 bananas a day is more of a acronym for 3000 calories that you need to aim for.
Permalink Reply by Trevor Gates on July 26, 2012 at 7:20am Actually 30BAD is an acronym. 30 bananas a day is a statement...
Permalink Reply by NewYorkBanana on July 26, 2012 at 7:36am What do you guys have in your bananasmoothies? Just banana or what? lol
Permalink Reply by Jon Fergus on July 26, 2012 at 3:54pm Bananas and water.
Bananas and juice.
Bananas and spinach and either water or juice.
Bananas and other fruit (within proper food combining limits).
Many options :)
