I was watching videos on youtube from Duranrider and freelee and she said she drank/ate:
1 litre water when she woke up
2 litres orange juice for breakfast
15 bananas for lunch
15 bananas for dinner
She drinks 3 litres of water a day ( or at least the day she was talking about)
What I want to know is how can one not get full from all those bananas I get full from like 5. How can I make room for more? And doesn'n it get boring eating all those bananas every day?
How do you guys eat the bananas? Like they are? Smoothie? what?
And after a workout I have heard it is best with a green smoothie or green juice from Yuri Elkaims advices.

There's really no secret, you have to continue eating despite being full. Start with ten bananas, perhaps. I started with fifteen, I think. First time I ate "over the limit". Was it hard? Yes. Did I make it? You bet I did.

Well, I was certainly able to expand my stomach with mostly smoothies in the beginning - I don't see why smoothies should make that more difficult. I would actually recommend newbies eating smoothies in order to get enough calories. As Lustu Cru said, it's often way easier to eat 10 bananas as a smoothie, at least in the beginning.
That being said, I agree that, longterm, eating the fruits whole seems to be the optimal choice.

Any info to back up this unusual claim?
Permalink Reply by Darren Is bananas! on July 25, 2012 at 7:07pm The liquidised bananas will digest faster and unless you drink them all in one gulp will start exiting the gut fairly quickly. So you never really fill out the gut as effectively as the whole bananas. So it is just a liquid vs solid issue. Having said that it is mostly about getting the food in and in the beginning just get the food in however people feel best and progress to "best practice" later.

And it's like 210 bananas a week.. I'm gonna empty out the stores in this city.. for real.
I'm gonna have to go into the store every day then and buy bananas. Gonna be pretty awkwaaaaard!
It's normal to just buy like one bunch of bananas 6-7 bananas!

Permalink Reply by melonhead on July 25, 2012 at 3:05pm Yeah- "Do you have a gorilla at home?" or, more commonly," You must be making banana bread". People get used to you coming in and buying a ton of bananas after a while. Also, a case is only about 30 here in Tennessee and that'll last a week or so. If you want your bananas to last, however, don't get your significant other who eats standard SAD diet, sprung on green smoothies. Doubles the banana bill. :)
Permalink Reply by Haakon on July 25, 2012 at 8:41am Just buy them by the box. I pick up 2 or 3 boxes a week (2 separate days, so they wont all be ripe at the same time) at my local store and carry them home. I used to be slightly embarrassed about buying so much fruit, but now I just think it's funny.

Do you buy it from any o the known stores in Norway or from some other place? I would love to buy it by the box!
