On an average day how many quality in person connections do you have?
and no the person at the checkout at the grocery store doesnt count, unless of course they spark up a good conversation with you or they are your friend.
I am saying mainly friends, family, co workers, customers, ect.

Permalink Reply by Michael Angelo on April 29, 2012 at 11:45pm I feel like we all crave more one reason this site is so popular. We sometimes forget how important quality connections are as a part of our great health. If you can go on 30Bad and leave feeling better since having been understood by someone on the site, that can count but ideally it would be a regular everyday occurrence.
Quality connection to me are people you take time to be with where you are honest, usually you feel better after being with them but not always in the case of family members for me, but we still get a great deal of connection since we are all together dependent on each other to run a business. People that know your name and care about you that you see regularly. Good friends and Family members most always count since they have known you the longest and the second best if you have a full time job would be your co workers you see daily that you get along with, and the third best is customers at work if you have a job that deals with the public and you actually try to help them, take time to explain to them your product or give advice, and show you care about what they do and who they are. That's what i would say is quality.
The how are you? good. how are you? good thing doesn't really count, i agree.

Permalink Reply by Craig Plunkett on April 30, 2012 at 12:19am Not enough connection it seems, else myself and most others wouldn't be here. Forums are very much an expression of a yearning for community. I personally have especially low amounts of real engagements with other people. It sounds elitist and snotty, but people have just bored me for so long now that I feel I've forgotten how to speak meaningfully with others when given the chance.
