How many bananas come in a case?

I forgot to add that 40 pounds is the actual weight they charge for. If you are lucky you get more but you always pay for 40 lbs if you buy wholesale.

I recently purchased my first case of organic bananas, there were 82 bananas in a 40 lb case. Varying from small to medium sized.
