I went out of the country this month and ate a lot of cooked vegan food and feel disgusting. I want to release all the toxins and water weight I gained. Would going on banana island do the trick? How long should I be there?

Also I'd transition as rapidly as possible back to lfrv and 811. I am assuming you have been on the program before you went out of the country. But that is an assumption. How successful were you prior to your trip?
I'm considering banana island myself. But I've been doing lfrv strict for about 4 months. I just want to experience it myself.
Permalink Reply by KKG on May 21, 2012 at 11:53am I was LFRV for 110 days and felt amazing! Was only out of the country from 5/15- today so I'm hoping the detox won't be too bad. So, how long do you think I should do banana island? Days? Weeks?
Permalink Reply by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 22, 2012 at 8:20am I would first get back to LFRV 80/10/10 actually without overt fats and do that for at least 2 weeks and then decide how you are feeling and what step you need to take next. You need to determine the time period yourself. No one can pre-determine something like that. One day at a time.
Permalink Reply by Kimberry on May 21, 2012 at 11:40am I'm kind of doing it right now, mostly out of budget. lol. It's going well, only been a couple weeks though. :)
It kind of leaves me craving juicy fruits. Occasionally I'll have oranges or watermelon, etc. and greens like celery and kale. I've noticed my energy isn't as high as when I have a meal of oranges or something.
It seems to me that eating simple, mono meals and resting is a great way to let your body heal. I don't think it has to be the same fruit all the time for a long time. Just all one fruit each meal, or even each day if you want. Some fruits have nutrients others don't and all that. :)
Good luck! <3

Permalink Reply by Lala M. Apples on May 21, 2012 at 12:30pm I love fresh raw orange juice --- seems like of all raw fruits .... they give me the best energy and good feelings. Prob is they cost more than the nanas for sure!
Permalink Reply by Kimberry on May 22, 2012 at 12:40pm Ohh same here. :) I have SO much energy when I mono oranges. <3
