I'd sleep as much as possible and give your body a chance to clean out the garbage. Also I'd transition as rapidly as possible back to lfrv and 811. I am assuming you have been on the program before you went out of the country. But that is an assumption. How successful were you prior to your trip?
I'm considering banana island myself. But I've been doing lfrv strict for about 4 months. I just want to experience it myself.
I was LFRV for 110 days and felt amazing! Was only out of the country from 5/15- today so I'm hoping the detox won't be too bad. So, how long do you think I should do banana island? Days? Weeks?
I would first get back to LFRV 80/10/10 actually without overt fats and do that for at least 2 weeks and then decide how you are feeling and what step you need to take next. You need to determine the time period yourself. No one can pre-determine something like that. One day at a time.
I'm kind of doing it right now, mostly out of budget. lol. It's going well, only been a couple weeks though. :)
It kind of leaves me craving juicy fruits. Occasionally I'll have oranges or watermelon, etc. and greens like celery and kale. I've noticed my energy isn't as high as when I have a meal of oranges or something.
It seems to me that eating simple, mono meals and resting is a great way to let your body heal. I don't think it has to be the same fruit all the time for a long time. Just all one fruit each meal, or even each day if you want. Some fruits have nutrients others don't and all that. :)
Good luck! <3
Maybe I could do banana and orange island? Will that work?
Experiment! Let us know which fruits you feel best eating. :) Try mono meals of various kinds. :)
I love fresh raw orange juice --- seems like of all raw fruits .... they give me the best energy and good feelings. Prob is they cost more than the nanas for sure!
Ohh same here. :) I have SO much energy when I mono oranges. <3
Do some greens too, is good for you
If you are holding onto water weight then do some cardio exercise and eat potassium rich fruits.
i've done 30 days on banana island,as i was doing a gentle detox after getting a parasite in my tummy.Under the guidance of Dr Graham, this was 4.5 years ago.
im planning on going to banana island as well! mostly since right now its all i can afford haha but im new to 811 and want to just go for it. if you decide to just go mono bananas we could do this together :) im planning to see how far i can go, but capping it at 30 days then mixing some mangoes, oranges, and greens!
