Windlord mentioned that he holds himself 2 a higher standard as a 30 b.a.d. peace keeper.

iN OTHER WORDS HOW TO LOVE OURSELVES & THE WORLD WE LIVE IN SOME MORE ?!?1
#14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
Generous of you to say, Carine.
Regarding my "higher standard," I feel compelled to note that if I'm at point A, and point B is where the "standard" resides, the road ahead is looo-oong! :)
Best I can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other, while regularly checking that my compass is aligned.
Now for how to keep the blood-suckers at bay, I like your singing idea. Music frees the spirit somehow.
To that I'd add being in the presence of animals. I've found their calming, wise presence (horses especially) to be balm for the soul.
Find trusted peeps (mutually) who will tell you what you need to hear with respect and your best interests at heart, not just what you might want to here. This can be huge for aligning that aforementioned compass.
Cultivating a healthy internal attitude, Harls has hit upon it:

Set our standards as high as we desire. The more outrageous the better.
Why wouldn't we love ourselves already? You are #1.
Vampires at our doorstep = time for a cleanse of people in your life.
The world is beautiful. Keep a focus on that, not the ridiculousness in it caused by ridiculous people.
It's all good.
Goodness gracious ... THANKS 4 THESE REACTIONS .
A result from your responses was : Smiling (lasting at least one full minute...).
