Question for those who still eat cooked food from time to time or remember their transition period: what symptoms do you get from eating cooked food? Not SAD but low fat and vegan foods.

But tastewise, fruit is the only way to go!

Permalink Reply by Richie Fruitbat on April 3, 2012 at 3:03am For me rice and (especially)beans/lentils = body odour and low moods, I suspect it's a 'too much protein' kinda thing.
Boiled new potatoes = slightly slower digestion, but no other side effects. I was nightshade intolerant a few months back but did banana island for 3 weeks and at the end found myself craving tomatoes. I gave in to tha cravin' and found that they no longer cause me any problems, figured I can do nightshades occasionally now.
I only ever eat potatoes with a big green salad, tomato and avocado. I suspect If I mono'd them they'd be a little dehydrating.

Permalink Reply by karen enriquez lopez on April 3, 2012 at 4:06am one day I was totally LFRV for like a week so i decided to have a free day, and I ate so many cooked food, men, what a mistake..... u_u
The next day I started with a terrible pain in my stomach and it becames stronger and stronger like burning, I couldn't move I was standing on my bed waiting to feel better, then i started vomiting a lot at the point that my body still wanted to throw stoff but I didn't have any food to vomit at all I has empty, then I had diarrhea, then My nose started bleeding, and finally I had fever.
Well that's my story of how cooked food almost kill me lol.
the truth is that if I have eatten just one cooked food meal or just rice, beans or potatoes it wouldn't be so bad but honestly I ate a lot of junk, crap, and fats! I will never do it again :(
Moral of the story?? DON'T DO IT!!! keep eating your wonderful fruits :D
love to all :)
In small doses I do OK. When it's a bigger meal I get a bit nauseous.
Permalink Reply by Clarissa on April 3, 2012 at 5:27am I actually do get a heartburn from whole grain rice, and the "crappiest" thing I ever eat would be gluten free pasta, but mostly potatoes and rice. The symtoms are worst when I haven't eaten it for a while though, it definately gets better if I do consume it regularly.
How often do you eat cooked foods bmoojeni? Maybe your body has adapted to it too? I agree with you on the no salt, oils or condiments-part being optimal
Permalink Reply by cecilie malene on June 3, 2012 at 8:43pm well I have gotten that sick from just eating rice, cooked veggies and tomato pure. I think it was the rice. But the funny thing is, that I can eat fatloaded crap at other times and not feel so bad. it is like the rice kills me
