before this is was ALWAYS cold in the winter, and in the summer when i got little sleep i was even colder (from that i'm pretty sure sleep affects your ability to regulate body temperature)
other than those ways you could try a more artificial approach of putting some clothes on you damn nudist! :P

Permalink Reply by Kate on February 24, 2012 at 7:19am Why is that people think u have to eat warm food to be warm??? doesn't our body's convert food into energy aka heat no matter what food we eat. i keep hearing people say "well i'm cold blooded so i need animal products to keep warm" i just dont get this?? iv been raw for most of the winter and have had no problems with warmth. I really feel like this is some strange myth. can anyone elaborate on this?
Permalink Reply by Loane on February 24, 2012 at 5:13pm When it´s cold outside and I am freezing, ONLY a warm soup can warm me up. Hot water or tea doesn´t really work. It must be food, in form of a soup. It works every single time. It´s not a myth.
Permalink Reply by Rawfruitygoddess on February 24, 2012 at 5:16pm How about vigorous exercise a warm shower or bath, a full belly of sweet fruit and cosy warm clothes? It's a mindset not a myth ;)

Permalink Reply by Connor Cordell on February 24, 2012 at 7:32am You really just need more calories of carbohydrates. I used to always wonder before I upped my calorie intake of why I would always be so cold. Also, I used to have the bad habit of waiting to eat until the end of the day which left me on empty for most of the day. So definitely my biggest tips for that are just getting in the amount of carbohydrates + some extra since it is cold and eating a regular 3 meals a day. Drink water :) And get your sleep :)

As long as I keep my hands & feet comfortable I'm good but if my hands & feet get cold I find it hard to reach for cold food.
I had the same problem last winter here in Southern Australia. I was cold all the time and peeing constantly. I just doubled my morning datorade and problem was fixed immediately.
