how do I raise my red blood cell count as a raw til 4 vegan?

I'm a 66 yr old raw til 4 vegan with low red blood cell count and low platelets, in other words anemia. My Doc says my blood tests show my diet is excellent, but is there something I can add to boost cell count and fight back? My iron, protein, B12, and calcium levels are fine.

DR HAY in the 1930s reported that 14 days of orange juice will increase your red blood cell count 5X.

I see two sides to this equation...

(1) giving the body what it needs to make blood cells

(2) minimising all the things that use up or destroy blood cells!

A juice feast helps with both.  And Step 1 is easier as the spleen recycles the old blood cells.

Hay if you're getting tests done, you might share your results.  Add some leafy greens in the juice and you may get even better than 5X ;)

black strap mollasses is pretty high iron. so is like hemp protein or something.

i'm eager to read this thread tho becuase this is someting i deal with every now and then if i'm not paying attention.  for me I can tell when i start getting winded doing stupid things i need some iron. 

orange thing is interesting. i eat a zillion of them all day long these days. cant say i've seen any improvements iron wise.
