At the beginning, it was ok since it was new and kind of exciting and my lipid counts were high and that was kind of my excuse, but now I just feel really akward.
When someone offers me a meal with a whole bunch of friends around, it just makes me feel really uncomfortable.
Any help?
Also, I've been feeling horrible and I'm wondering if I should add more salads or anything. I became vegan because these problems, but just haven't been able to get better.
I get really fainty/weak/light, it's been hard to walk around sometimes.
A lot of panic disorder/anxiety, teeth have been hurting, stiff body and then cracks when I move. Breathing problems and a lot of other problems. It's been a wild ride. I've been depressed and I haven't been connected with much people spiritually anymore.
Thanks for your help guys. I really need you guys!!!!!

But I do understand awkwardness when people offer you food. Depending on who I'm with, I'll either shrug it off with an "I'm not hungry" or go full-out and tell them that I'm a raw foodist. Either way, it works pretty reliably.
Now it gets a little tricky...how long have you been on the diet? How many calories have you been getting? Sleep? Exercise? Water? Stress? There's tons of things that could be causing fatigue and dizziness, probably nothing that can't be easily diagnosed and fixed. :)
Permalink Reply by Datiger on July 2, 2012 at 2:55pm Yea for sure. It's not sooo much just hanging out and eating, it's mainly when I'm sitting at the dinner table and everyone is eating meat. I just feel some tension between us, or also at parties. If I'm feeling good this doesn't bother me, but 'cuz I'm feeling horrible it feels like I'm drawing in more negativity, it's probably just 'cuz I'm now getting mood swings where I've never had them before.
Permalink Reply by Nathan on May 26, 2012 at 2:42pm I feel like the eating issue really makes you aware of who you truly connect with. Around my best friend of 10+ years, for example, this new diet was almost normal. He asked a few questions about it but I just eat normally around him and don't even really think about it.
This definitely hasn't been the case around everyone, heh.
Permalink Reply by Jade on May 26, 2012 at 2:46pm People were always weirded out by my being veganism, so raw wasn't really a far stretch. People don't notice for the most part because of that, and because I'm not really a "labels" person, I'm not about to make a big hairy deal out of eating "only this, never that" to most people I know, since I know they would find it off-putting and seemingly elitist. Better in my experience to wait until someone asks the question, since at that point they would be more receptive to any explanation you would give.

Stay true to yourself and don't do anything, that makes you feel uncomfortable. Your friends will respect you for it.
" get really fainty/weak/light, it's been hard to walk around sometimes.
A lot of panic disorder/anxiety"
Always stay in the present moment. Make sure you eat and sleep enough. I hope you're getting help with anxiety. :o)
Permalink Reply by Datiger on July 2, 2012 at 2:59pm For sure. I guess since I haven't been feeling good and my friends are kind of used to me not feeling good it's now been discredited. It's the like the boy who cried wolf. I've just been feeling miserable for too long.
Staying in the present moment sounds good :)
your health problems?? this happens to me too,it gets worse when I don't eat enough or drink tea, green or black!
Permalink Reply by Datiger on July 2, 2012 at 3:02pm Yea, I'm seeing a Doctor that specializes in hormones. He said that I have Dysautonomia/P.O.T.S. w/low thyroid. If I have one sip of green tea I feel like I'm going to die.
From what I remember reading the symptoms I have can't tolerate, "Flouride" and I think the teas have that.
