30 Bananas a Day!

i am a petite model at 5,3 and the ideal weight for me is around 90 lbs i saw freelee on youtube and her body looks great but she is probably a great deal taller than me. with my height should i restrict my calories more than the average raw vegan? can anyone in the verticaly challenged category help me with an answer?

yeah actually I think I should consume around 2000 calories since I'm so petite!:)

Can you also tell me more about fat and protein? I know according to 811 they should be 10% of my calorie intake so in my case 200 kcal from fat and 200 kcal from protein, but what is the correct amount in terms of grams to put on my cronometer?

Well basically all I can suggest you from my own understanding is, eat an avocado about every second day and eat lots of greens daily, or as much as you can get your hands on in Italy. Whether that would be a big salad/veg meal a day or green smoothies. I myself usually don't get more than 3-4% protein a day and I barely eat greens because I don't have any. If you want to be closer to the 10% you'll need greens for sure. :) But just a tip, if you are active you'll need more than 2000 calories a day, I think. And even if you aren't, you might become active if you eat enough and have energy. :)

yeah I always have a big salad for dinner and sometimes I'll add some nuts too. Since I'm very busy with my studying I'm not able to exercise every day but I try at least 3-4 times a week; now that summer is approaching I'll be definetely able to do more!:)

Wow 2000 is already a lot for me! but I'll try to eat more! since I'm at the beginning of this journey it's still a bit difficult to eat such big quantities:)

Good job. I'm rooting for you about the calorie thing though, it might seem like alot but trust me there are people here who are your size and eat up to 3000kcal a day. :D It will get easier with time. Good luck with the journey!

Yeah 2000 is not enough for you. One of the biggest mistakes girls make here is thinking "Oh, I'm petite, so I don't need the minimum recommendation for girls on 30bad; I can go below that since I'm so petite." 

Read the the rest of this thread before you posted. Several women posted their height, their weight, and their caloric intake, and you can see that even though they are "petite," they must consume well ABOVE the minimum rec. for girls. 

Remember, the excess carbs won't make you fat. It's excess fat and inactivity that will do that.

Hang in there - everyone has problems with stomach volume at first.

Please please don't calorie count.

Actually, on 30BaD we highly recommend that you do calorie count.... just not for the same reasons. We want people to calorie count to make sure they're getting enough calories, the exact opposite of counting in order to restrict. We find that people have increased success when they keep track of their calories in the beginning, using something like cronometer, which helps them make sure they get at least the minimum 2500 cals for women or 3000 for men, and helps them be objective about how much they're consuming. Once people have been on the lifestyle for long enough, and have a better sense of the volume required, then it becomes easy to live without counting, but in the beginning it's quite important.

have the same condition of not crossing a certain weight cos of my job , so i can understand u ! im new in eatin this way as well but have always been a veg and sugar , salt , starch , oil restricted so being a fruity seem kinda easy to me . So what i do now is avoiding fatty fruits like coconut and the water , avocado , ... and still not eating more than 10 almonds at MAX a day! raisins r ok but not mush as well as dates! ( so not more than 3-4 dates for me in a day ) but tooooo much of greens to fill up my stomach and keep my skin look healthy . and the morning after a heavy banana night i mix 2 tea spoons of apple cider vinegar to my morning water .also red chili increases the body metabolism so helps to burn more .  hope this helped :)

Chili and vinegar are on the "Materials/Ingredients not supported on 30BAD" list in the Welcome Wagon, and for good reason. 

I'm still fairly new here but I wouldn't think you need to be afraid of dates... they are soo low in fat... someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
