I was wondering if anyone has made their own larabar? (or is this not a good idea?)
I used to enjoy having their peanut butter bar as a treat (ingredients are dates, peanuts and salt) - I will remove the salt and only include dates and a small amount of nuts - but I was wondering if this is a bad combination of food? - I'm planning to make this for my family as a snack as after a bag of chips last week, they are now addicted and them putting on weight worries the hell out of me! (I have replaced one of their dinner dishes with a huge bowl of fruit every night - I'm basically trying to introduce more fruits and veg into their lifestyle!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
