Radha on December 25, 2011 at 4:20am I like to make soup in my Vitamix -- Tomato Basil is my favorite with lots of freshly grown, living basil leaves and non-GMO heirloom tomatoes. You can warm the soup to just the right temperature in the Vitamix and add garnish to the soup when served like more finely chopped tomatoes, zucchini, red pepper. You can warm your garnishes for a while in your dehydrator. It softens them a little bit, too. Soup is always nice and simple.

Permalink Reply by Chris Randall on December 25, 2011 at 7:36am Everyone else in my family will be having turkey, ham, buttered potatoes, and all the other typical fair. I'll be having either some pomegranates or mangos followed by a giant bowl of zucchini noodles with a creamy tomato sauce with cherry tomatoes, avocado, celery, cilantro, and basil! :D
Happy holidays everyone!
