This is my live blood analysis almost 2 years on a high fat, high protein vegetarian almost 100% raw diet.
You can see my cells are all clumped together because they are starved for oxygen! They should look like independent O's floating around having a good time. (These are my red blood cell's or RBC's)
My cells should look more like the ghost cells (dead cells) in this picture below.
Here are a few definition on this condition:
Rouleau
When the blood gets to this condition the amount of oxygen that can be transported is severely diminished. This condition is caused by high fat and protein diets and high acidity. Your blood will look like this if you drink one soda and will stay that way for at least two hours. Because your cells are not getting oxygen you will feel tired, have poor digestion, and skin disorders.RBC ROULEAU - Stacked RBC's. Worse stage of protein linkage.
SUGGESTED CAUSE: Same as previous page, protein linkage. Often poor protein digestion. The pancreas may be off. Excess dietary protein, poor assimilation. Eating too much animal protein. Blood too toxic (altered blood pH) from stress, coffee, cigarettes, meat, etc. Dehydration, not drinking enough water (which by the way, is one of the top undiagnosed causes of many ailments).
POSSIBLE SIGNS: Fatigue, shortness of breath - RBC's cannot carry oxygen; stress on heart. Cold hands/feet - poor circulation.
MED PERSPECTIVE: Peripheral blood erythrocytes often display the phenomenon of rouleau formation and exhibits a specific role in the pathogenesis of some disease. Plasma fibrinogen and Immunoglobulins are some of the potent rouleau-inducing agents. Some industrial poisons such as benzene, parathion & carbon tetrachloride not only increase this phenomenon but also cause thrombotic and hemorrhagic manifestations as well. Patients suffering from allergies, infections and severe trauma may exhibit rouleau.
I was on my way to getting some dangerous degenerative disease and was already experiencing heavy fatigue, brain fog and poor performance. I was following David Wolfe, Matt Monarch and the more mainstream raw food people and the only non-vegan items i was eating were bee products, that is why i called it a vegetarian diet, though i called my self vegan at the time. I would crave sweet so much some times i would "drink" a large jar of liquid honey in one sitting to satisfy my sweet tooth and feel horrible afterwards. My mood was jojo-ing up and down all the time so i medicated my self constantly with raw chocolate which totally thrashed my adrenals (i am still recovering almost 2 years later!). I went severely underweight and my weight fluctuated so much so that it was rarely the same for a decent amount of time.
I found this lifestyle (hcrv), when i was on the brink of destruction by my previous diet and lifestyle, in late 2010 and i found instant change in my health noticing my happiness and athletic performance right away go up dramatically in the first 2 months. It's been about 1 and a half years since i went high carb low fat and i am still recovering but i feel how the trio of sleep-water-sugar is helping my body recover from my own stupid doing's. I have gained some weight which is good cos i was underweight and it is mostly water weight anyway so it will go as soon as i have healed up sufficiently which is THE NO.1 PRIORITY because that is what it is all about, being healthy. I must be doing something right because i haven't as much as had a cold since i embarked on this lifestyle and i am so grateful for finding this lifestyle and i want to thank all of the wonderful people on this forum that make up this community and of course the fruity pioneers that helped save my health!
I LOVE YOU ALL:)
My conclusion after a personal experience and that the scientific data shows also that a high fat high protein diets don't work long term and are very dangerous too your health!
Permalink Reply by Esra on May 19, 2012 at 4:16am Wow, thanks for posting this Kristjan! I'm so glad you got out of the cycle. High fat/high protein is definitely very dangerous. This makes me wonder what my blood was like before HCRV :). I was "healthy" (compared to SAD) in the fact that I rarely ate animal flesh (but ate lots and lots of canned beans) and used olive oil and LOTS of coconut oil instead of other oils- because those are the healthy oils, right- lol! I used to use SO much coconut oil that now I honestly feel gross if I even just smell it. Thankfully I learned so much since, and was able to differentiate between REAL information and misinformation after a while.
Yay for 811 :D, and congrats on finding the BEST way to live <3
