I heard from most people that either the OMEGA 6000 or the Green Star don't overheat when juicing leafy greens. I would be juicing 2-3 bunches of spinach/kale/collards each morning for me and my boyfriend, along with other veggies or fruit like cucumbers to dilute the juice. I need to know which would be the best. I want to invest once and not have to re-sell it for another. I appreciate your feedback thanks.

Permalink Reply by mangomel on April 11, 2012 at 9:41am I just purchased the Omega 8003 Juicer and love it. I loved it so much that I convinced my mother to buy it. From what I understand, the Brivelle is a great juicer as well but the Omega masticating juicer out preform Brivelle with regard to leafy greens. Keep in mind the chute is smaller and so it does take a little while longer to juice, however in the end you're getting more green juice from your veggies than with the Brivelle. The Omega masticating juicer may get backed up when juicing watery veggies/fruits like cucumbers and oranges but all you have to do is alternate between your greens and those types of veggies/fruits and there is no issue.
I find the juicer very easy to clean.
