Hi fruit lovers!
so i've been reading lots and lots about the healing benefits that come with a raw diet. IBS, Diabetes, Insomnia...the list goes on and on! There are even tales of natures food curing Cancer!
But I'd like to hear it from you guys! I would like to know what diseases, illnesses or problems you guys have healed with HCRV.
I'm curious because there are things that I would love to disappear and I'm not sure they will/
One of these things is Endomitriosis, the other is a rather large vein that sticks out on the back of my leg. Any knowledge??? Please share!

I haven't healed anything exciting. Except acne - which is still there a little bit since I am allergic to tomatoes and haven't been able to stop eating them XD
Endometriosis - http://naturesplatform.com/health_benefits.html#hysterectomy
This heavily sourced and referenced article (link jumps to the gynecological disorder section but the rest of the article is essential) discusses endometriosis and a whole host of other diseases in the pelvic area from the perspective of pelvic floor strain and damage to the pudendal nerve caused by sitting while evacuating, which has only been done since the middle of the 1800s. Feet on the seat, not on the floor, and your endometriosis will go away a lot quicker. (Sure, diet will help with this one, but it is mainly a physical ailment caused by misuse of the body.)
The large vein will go away since nutrient deficiencies are one thing that lead to weakened artery walls which pop out in unfortunate places and look ugly. Another thing which helps this is cardiovascular exercise.

You know its funny, I have recently been made aware of the 'squatting to evacuate' technique and have already started to use it! But I had no idea at all that it was linked to endometriosis!
Don't you just love the way the world works!
Permalink Reply by Kotryna on June 25, 2012 at 4:28am I'm not 100% raw yet, mostly because of the climate here, but still I got some huge health benefits on very first days. I don't have Hashimoto thyroiditis anymore :) I was diagnosed on Jan, took pills of thyroxine for a month and there was no improvement. But since I got into 811, I started feeling overdose symptoms, so I stopped taking any drugs altogether :) Last blood test (on March) showed that my TSH is in healthy level :) I feel so amazed by that, cause most of diagnosed patients are forced to take drugs for the rest of their lifes and increase doses as it gets ineffective.

Permalink Reply by Brittany Martin on June 25, 2012 at 5:16am I found the LFRV lifestyle while looking for a natural cure to my Crohn's disease. It is the exact opposite of what a GI would tell a Crohnie to eat and that sounded pretty good to me. It only took 3 months to come off of all my meds and I can actually feel myself healing from the inside. Hypocrate's Oath was, "Let thy food be thy medicine, first do no harm." Most diseases are a product of our environment and literally go away when the trigger is removed. Grains and dairy are huge autoimmune disease triggers. My philosophy is to eat cleanly and let my body heal itself, and so far it's working pretty well for me.

Permalink Reply by Chloe May Smith on June 25, 2012 at 9:26am WOW! it seems like 3 months is the average amount of time the body takes to rebuild itself once eating raw. thank you for sharing!
