30 Bananas a Day!

I was told this week that I had hypothyroidism and I'm curious if there is any feedback about this topic and how it relates to high carb, high fiber fruit. I'm reading that it's not a good idea. (not that it's going to change my diet) Just curious.

It is so great that you don't need a med! Even though I was given this diagnosis and am on med, I believe that one day I will no longer have the need for it as miracles do happen!

I was tested at 5,000 once and my doc said that I didn't have Hashimotos coz of the other results, so your endocrinologist must be right!

How are you checking the pituitary? I am interested!

Not sure what the actual test is but its done thru bloodwork......I will let you know when I get results. It will be a couple of weeks out. She is re-testing the thyroid numbers as well.

Hey Abbie! Yes, I was taking selenium and other supplements and started on iodine slowly. That's a great piece of advice for people who may be reading this post!

Ah, okay! Cool. Sorry it didn't work for you- everyone is different :-)

I have my fingers crossed for your no-med miracle, the body can be amazing sometimes.

Abbie, thank you so much! The support of other people helps tremendously! Best of health to you too )))

I have hashimotos hypothyroid as well. I take natural dessicated thyroid and spent a year treating my adrenal glands. If your adrenals are weakened you may get dizzy and feel sick after eating fruit, especially if it's juice or something without much fiber. Thyroid tests are very inaccurate, if you have hashimotos your numbers will be all over the place. Check out stopthethyroidmadness.com
