Hi All,
I quit coffee completely after years of being a 4+ a day coffee drinker.
While I'm feeling better (no more coffee headaches, fatigue) and am sticking to eating 80-10-10 to a "T", I do notice that I'm gaining weight!
My 80-10-10 eating is really more 95-5-5 (I go very low on the Overts!).
Could I be holding extra water because I no longer ingest caffeine, which can be a diuretic?
Has anyone experienced this?

Permalink Reply by Simplicity on May 22, 2012 at 3:01am Coffee's a well-known appetite suppressant, so you gaining weight post-coffee is a probability for sure. That said, new 811'ers often gain weight in the short-run. So it could be that, too.
