I recently bought some b12 injections from the 30Bad promoted trimnutriont website . I bought the methylcobalamin (10,000 mcg)-- cost me $250.
However, a few hours later I began having horrible cramps. I almost went to the ER (it was that painful). However, the pain subsided after about 10 minutes+ on the pot. I had a BM which relieved much of the pain. I got a few cramps every so often after that. However, the initial cramps were mind blowing (or at least another type of blowing).
The only time i had experienced anything similar to the pain was when I had a terrible allergic reaction to seafood. (this is actually what made me go vegan) Given, the pain from the seafood did not subside and resulted also in a large rash and going to the ER. I had the onset of anaphylactic shock.
--Luckily the B12 didn't send me to the ER like the seafood did.
BUT, I read about bad some bad side effects from B12 injections. Would any of you lfrv gurus out there promote the continued use of this. Or, would a second injection this week just be plain stupid?
--hopefully you b12 promoters out there could give me some insight.
Some people have complained about their first shot, but then the rest go ok.
I would take 1 or 2 injections only if I had symptoms, backed up by blood test showing high mma or homocystein. Then use sublinguals.
Otherwise, the methyl sublinguals work as good as the shots according to a couple of studies. I raised my B12 level from 116 to 550 with sublinguals, and dropped my homocystein from 18 down to 8.
I think the Trim product is crazy expensive and wasteful. The 2000mcg per shot version might be reasonable, if you had 5+ people to split it up with, because it requires something like 45 shots to use it up in 3 months shelf life.
I don't think it was the shot.
I injected 40 of them in 3 months, no side effects at all.
Make sure you use them up in time, check expiration on the label.
Give a few shots to family and loved ones too.
