30 Bananas a Day!

It seems hard for me to fill my calorie quota of the day. I was thinking that eating 1/2 of my calories from medjool dates could help since they are more compact. But is that not healthy to eat so many everyday? Or does it not matter as long as I am getting in the calories? Thanks!!

Great, Thank you!:)

That would be fine to get half of your calories from dates/datorade.  You'll get used to eating more water rich fruits over a few weeks or so.  Your body has plenty of vitamins and minerals to tide you over if you were missing out on the consumption of any.  Dr. D has said not to live on just one food for more than 6 months.  So you'll be fine.  You can even go without greens for a few months to make room for more calories, you will eventually crave them according to Dr. D.

Wonderful! thanks for the help! :D

I have the same dilema, Endshell; do you think waking up early makes a diference as how many calories you can eat? I notice that if I dont eat my 8 bananas at 6am its hard to finish my cal goal... 2200atday...

Jaime, I think it depends how much calories you are suppose to be eating, Im 50k and short so at 2200 still struggle but I dont eat much dates, just on the go or on planes... What is your calorie goal?

I was aiming for 2500! I am not sure the exact goal I should have but I am 5'8 and 133 lbs so that converts into almost 61k! Thanks for the input!:)

Once you get use to 2500, you may want to increase a bit more, maybe 2700?  For the moment eat as much as you like of dried fruits and do have variety  of fresh ones ;)

Thank you so much! I will!:)

dude, i eat like almost a pound of dates most days and i feel like a million bucks!

Awesome!!

Im confused, your a fruit eater but your not allowed to eat fruit to get enough cals?

Thats like a dolphin asking 'Im a fish eater but am I allowed to eat sardines when I cant get enough anchovies?'

Get a copy of Freelee's ebook if people are talking nonsense about dates. Sure, fresh fruit is better IF you can get enough cals but date cals are still EXCELLENT nourishment. Do you want to make this lifestyle easy or hard? :)

I would like to make it Very Easy!! :) Thank you for the input! I have just started reading Freelee's ebook! Very excited to be reading it. So even eating other dried fruit is still good? Obviously its not as good as the fresh stuff.

Thanks for you help! I am a Newbie!:)
