So, a friend of mine and I recently had the idea to go to McDonald's and hand out flyers with info about McDonald's...
I really like the idea, but I just want to make sure - is this illegal? Would there be any legal shctuff we would have to be prepared for/know about?
I figured this is a pretty bright community that's sort of involved with this kinda thing - so I thought I'd ask you all, just to make sure (:

I forget his name, but this guy is one of our own on 30BaD and has done some great activism at McD's. Very brave! Might be worth sending him a message for some tips in case you get harassed. :)

What did your flyer say?
Permalink Reply by Jade on July 23, 2012 at 3:06pm Just make sure you don't directly attack McD's, as companies can sue over this sort of thing--Don't mention their name or any names of menu items, just gear your discussions toward food high in fat, cholesterol, etc. in general. Also, stay on the sidewalk, not on their actual property.
