since you started lfrv have you seen any "dramatic" change on your hair - hairgrowth, thickness and so on?

I always had a really thick hair but since I stopped using any product its even stronger and looks better. Even the few hairs that usually to drop naturally in the shower are fewer.
Best
I also noticed a lot less hair coming out in the shower... as far as thickness, I don't think my hair could get any thicker to begin with... the way my hair grows from my head... it's so unbelievably close together and so ridiculously thick, it seems completely impossible! ;) I am very curious to see what other changes might come with living this way though!

Im so curious about using no product on hair. Does this mean no shampoo too ?
Permalink Reply by Kobi Swissa on April 14, 2012 at 12:52pm Yeah man. no shampoo, conditioner, gel etc.. a couple of times a year my wife and I are doing the banana-almond oil thing but really, more for the silliness of it :)
You have to wash the hair really well. don't let the water just run down on your head, really massage it. then you pick the hairs that fell from the bottom of the bath tub and add it to a banana-date smoothie. this way it flosses for you :)

Permalink Reply by Mary Elizabeth on April 10, 2012 at 6:28am My boyfriend had a receding hairline and since eating more fruits and veggies and almost entirely raw, his hair has gotten thicker all over and it is starting to grow back where is was receding. :) he's pretty happy! My hair is softer and thicker as well.

I have been on and off lvrv and I notice a huge difference in my skin and hair. When I am eating high fat cooked vegan my hair is very thin and falls out, is split and dry at the ends and oily on top. My skin is flaky and lots of zits and large pores. Also my skin tone is quite red. When I am low fat mostly raw with a little cooked vegan all this clears up and I look so much better. I am still trying to go 100% lfrv.
