i consulted with you guys a few times in the past and you really helped me out.
hope you'll be able to help this time as well.
i started 811 about 7 months ago.
i had a few bad days in those months but overall i'm doing great at keeping my diet.
in the last 2 month i eat mostly 90-5-5 and didn't touch anything that is not hcrv.
b-u-t, i started to gain weight!
i want to point out that although i have about 20 kilos to lose, it's not the main reason why i'm doing 80-10-10.
i believe it with all my heart, and recieved great benefits.
i don't weight myself anymore, but i can see from my clothes that i gained about 10 kilos. (not water, not muscle, fat.)
i eat more than 3000 k a day, and i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong or what i should do now.
i helped creating a big 811 community in my country, and i can't stop thinking of what a bad example i am.
it's also very difficult for me to run (my biggest love!) with all the excess weight.
Do you exercise? What type of exercise do you do and for how long and how often?
i exercise ( and i also drink, sleep for at least 9 hours every night, and getting some sun) for 4-5 days, about an hour or more each time.
If you are following 811rv like you said and are tracking using a tracking program then you still aren't gaining FAT. It would be impossible unless you were eating fat. LOL
How much water are you drinking?
How much are you exercising?
How much are you sleeping a night?
Are you taking any kind of meds or "natural remedies" at all?
can you explain what you said? if i'm not gaining water or muscle, and i see in the mirror and in my waist line that i'm getting bigger (not stronger, just fatty..) what else can i gain? air? ;)
i'm drinking 1-2 liters of water

Shy, I can tell you are very upset about this and we truly are trying to throw out some ideas for you and clarify some points.
It seems that you are doing everything right. Any overt fats in your 80/10/10 program? Nuts, seeds, avocados??? I have to stay far away from these.
I can't see anyone getting fat on this program. What you may be experiencing from what I've read is that you are hydrating and expanding temporarily. I'd stay the course and wait this out. Water weight does expand us and that makes our clothes tighter and puffs us up temporarily.
Can you tell us how tall you are in feet and inches and how much you weigh in lbs right now. Thanks
:) i really appreciate it, it feels so alone. (i hear durian speaking about "no fat people on 811".. and i feel like i'm the only one, while others around me lose weight!)
i thought about writing this message a few times but i was afraid that outside people will look at it and won't try 811, but i really recomend it to everyone, it changed my life, and i want to find asolution.
i don't eat nuts and seeds, i eat avocado\tahini sometimes. (still not passing 811, i ate about 5 tahini spoons and 3 avocados in the past 2 months.)
i'm 161 cm (About 63.4 in?) and i weight more than 70 kilos at the moment. (about 154 pound)
Shy, Again, give it some more time. I don't really think it is the diet, especially since you are so happy with it. Be patient and seek out some answers like you did here.
Are you drinking green tea or any caffeine at all?
I think your next option would be a fast. Either a 92 day juice feast that I just ended or a water/rest fast at a retreat for 811r's. The total equasion for getting our systems right is hydrate, nutrient-dense food, and detox. I can tell you that the crap that was in me wasn't coming out by eating even healthy. I am a new person now. Check out JUICEFEASTING.COM for their program. It isn't 811 but perhaps this would help your body right itself. Don't do any of the supplementation. We don't need any of that.
Also are you doing greens????? This is important! You should be doing about 1 lb a day
i don't drink caffeine at all.
i really don't think i eat enough greens, thanks for the advice :) i will try to eat more and see if something changes.
you might wanna drink some more ? 1-2liters doesn't seems to be quite enough for an active person, so maybe you are experiencing water retention thereby. I know from other discussions about weight gain, that it is extremely difficult to distinguish between fat and water gain.
