30 Bananas a Day!

You see all this surviving programs, survivorman, man vs wild. They go out and survive in wildlife

-their diet there is very easy, eat whatever you find (You can see Bear Grylls [MvsW] eat lizards, spiders, scorpions, fruits, fish, small animals and so on)

-Now I LOVE nature and I want to live few years in wild but what can I eat?

It is harder than "whatever you find" diet and some places might not have fruits at all!

Here's sort of what I want to do

Go out to the nature and live\survive there for at least a year, experience all weather (sounds really really fun to me) and move from place to place.

-I will bring a backpack with 2 set of clothes (I will wear one of them), basic tools like knife, fire equipment, and maybe some more small and minimal stuff

Okay so I need your advices on this topic.

First times I can investigate before I go, like what fruit is available

-I CANT rely on bringing fruit because it is ALOT to carry.

I would like to hear about water too.

Any advice on this topic will be helpful! Thanks for supporters

Your advice here: =)

Maybe Ill find a camera and document it! :}

That sounds fun! Where exactly are you intending to survive? The location is very important, for example in Romania it will be difficult to live in the wild, not a huge variety of fruit, much of them low in caloric density and it is a high chance you have to eat a lot of overtfats. And all this is available a few months a year. On the other hand if you choose a rain forest, big variety of fruit, but more danger from wild animals, parasites. I think people use to live in small tribes, and they have evolved depending on each other, if you had an injury it will have been ok to rest and for someone else to take care of you...but is ok to experiment, be careful, and it will be a good idea to have an emergency backup, you may need your brothers! :)

Yea it is great and tribes also eating the whatever you find diet. :)

It is easier to hunt animals, they dont have to be ripe and they are easier to find.

I WOULD LOVE to live in rainforests and I WANT to meet animals, I think we can get along :).

I live in Israel so Ill have to experiment here :).

I actually exit to the wildlife once a week and I stayed once with bananas and some veggies until 7-8 pm.

I tried to sleep next to campfire but I heard donkeys and Arabs so I left.

This place I visit is full of horses, hogs and other animals.

Also you can find figs in there. -It looks like figs are very common here.

I know all Israelis from this forum :)

well if you say theres 3 of em I know them all!

I gonna get experience before Im going to places like rainforest.

I want to visit  tribes and gain their experience, and Ive seen in Natgeo that there's one tribe that located in a rainforest

who survive there for years.

Tribes are disappearing and also their knowledge about wildlife and survival.

A group of people in Israel advertise and teach about wilderness and survival, they share their experience which they gain from tribes.

I am eager to visit it!

I want to go to the desert one day too :)

Actually where I live you can see fruit trees everywhere

-loquats, figs, pomegranate and more.

In the wild where I go to, there's olive trees EVERYWHERE.

and some figs trees maybe even more.

Since I started exploring this topic Ive read that vegetarians cannot survive in wildlife.

Ive read that in few places but it was only opinions, it wont let me down.

Although we never discovered a tribe that lives on fruit right?

Good day guys!

If you have more advice or if you experienced it yourself, even for a week then share your wisdom! :)

BTW, I just ate 3 AMAZING mangoes :))
