I know in the depths of my hear that 811 is whats right for me. I feel best when I eat this way and want to continue. I went 811 about a month ago and for the first 2 weeks I ate 100% and felt fantastic! My face got noticeably better and I felt happier and more energized. I had a little slip up 2 weeks ago when I went to visit my family and since then I have not been able to stay 100%. I got for a day or 2 fully 811 and then my head starts messing with me. I start wondering if this is right for me and "maybe a little bit of rice or tofu wouldnt kill me" etc. etc. I sound like my mother when that happens! Then I eat the damn food and feel like ****. Or at least not as good as when I eat juicy fruit. Another thing that happens is that when I'm eating fruit I start to feel an aversion to it. Basically, when I'm eating raw I'm wanting to eat cooked and when I eat something cooked I crave my fruit sooo much and wish I hadnt eaten the cooked food. I know that the latter is my true feeling. Why the hell would I want to eat something that makes me tired and lethargic? And, when I eat cooked its never animal products or fat. Its sweet potatoes, rice, tofu. This is food that these days most consider "healthy" but it makes me feel like s***.
I need some inspiration. Please tell me your experience, offer advice and let me know how long you've been doing this. I need you now dear friends, I want to do this but am getting discouraged. This back and forth action is wearing me out. Thank you for your wonderful support.

I think you're still eating them because in your mind you think its NOT THAT BAD.In other words you still haven't linked enough pain to eating those foods.I remember reading a book by Dr.Norman Walker and he totally put me off eating grains and starches. So when you get clear that its crap for you you can easily choose to eat fruit.Hope this help
Permalink Reply by brina on April 27, 2012 at 5:45am i love dr Walker. amazing stuff he says in his books. he is a big ---Big proponent. of eating juiced vegetables. he points out all the solutions to nearly all the ailments under the sun moon and stars. he is the one to know when it comes to being healthy. for real.
Permalink Reply by Viktoriya on April 27, 2012 at 7:15am Hey Brina, can you offer some titles of the books? thanks! :)
Permalink Reply by brina on April 30, 2012 at 4:59am Oh, he wrote a lot of em. I can look in the back of the book I've got on my shelf to give you more titles if you want. Just let me know. But the book that I've got is Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices and it's got a great amount of vitamin/ mineral and general/nutrition info regarding a healthy vibrant body. Best wishes!
Permalink Reply by Viktoriya on April 27, 2012 at 7:15am That helps a lot Tarukwa! I definitely always go through the whole "all I want is brown rice and Tofu! Thats not so bad for me!" and then I give in. Why are grains and starches bad?
Permalink Reply by Tarukwa on April 29, 2012 at 1:19am Have you read grain damage by Douglas N. Graham?
I'll quote a paragraph from one of Dr.Norman Walker book on starch
Starch molecules can cause a colossal amount of damage in the digestive system. When they pass through the liver, the molecules may become wedged in the liver's cells. When I first realised that the starch molecule was not soluble in water, alcohol or ether, I immediately understood why the grains and starchy foods I had eaten in such quantities in the past caused such impactions in the liver as to cause it to harden like a piece of board.
Please if you can read grain damage! or one of Dr.Norman Walker books. Personally for me when I eat grains I always get a bloated look to my face I know something is not right.
Permalink Reply by brina on April 27, 2012 at 5:24am you might need something. . . i reaaaaally need to read this 801010 thing. does it mention not eating vegetables? you might need sweet potatoes. you can eat them raw. they're good. they'll make your teeth and jaw muscles work, but u might need it. want it. i dunno. quinoa is really good too. sprout it. do you have any thyroid issues? iffff not, go for a lil bit of cruciferous veggies too. .. like coliiflower (it's great blended as a rice/mashed potato thing, however it's spelled. yum.) and broccoli.
Permalink Reply by Viktoriya on April 27, 2012 at 10:20am Hey Brina, I have a hard time digesting raw vegs. I burp them up for hours and they feel like they just sit in my stomach. Maybe if its chopped really small in the food processor it might be better? I might have to give that a try! Thanks :)
Permalink Reply by brina on April 30, 2012 at 5:03am Yes, for sure, small pieces might help your system digest them better. Soaking can help too. Let me know if it works for you at all.
Permalink Reply by Viktoriya on April 27, 2012 at 10:23am Amen to that! My sister is a vegetarian and she tells me about her meals all the time. Beans and rice, tempeh sandwich etc. and she talks about how healthy it is. Yet, shes always saying that she feels super sleepy. When I tell her that raw is best she says thats extreme. I notice a huge difference when I eat raw as opposed to cooked. HUGE! I also noticed today that my skin is much more blotchy and itchy after eating that cooked food last night. Thank you so much for your support Carly!
