Permalink Reply by evilday on December 3, 2011 at 1:27am Try doing bentonite clay hair masks. I gave up shampoo about a year ago, using baking soda and ACV. Then I switched to bentonite clay, and now finally water only. Transition is key.
Coconut oil is by far the best single thing that I use for beautiful skin. I do make my own lotions, but you can use coconut oil by itself. Use it at night if you're oily, and by morning your skin will be dewey but not greasy :)
Also, try the oil cleansing method for deep cleansing your facial skin. Just google OCM, it is AMAZING and my skin is so soft and clear after using it, and all you need is hot water, oils, and a washcloth.
Permalink Reply by Katy on August 10, 2012 at 11:20pm I am trying to stop using shampoo, too. Started about 10 days ago, listening to Chris Randall's interview on the Brilliant Body Summit inspired me a lot. I am using lemon juice (I normally juice 2 lemons for each time) and i spread it on my scalp mainly. It seems that I will need to wash my hair like this twice a week to start with, hopefully will be able to reduce it soon.
Do u think i should use only one lemon and dissolve it in water be4 putting it on my hair? I am just thinking if lemon might be too strong as such? Dont wanna be doing any damage...
