30 Bananas a Day!

Foods that help you build Muscle mass on a "Vegan" Diet?

I was wondering what type of Vegan food You bodybuilders use to gain Muscle Mass and to improve endurance?  Also i'm considering  buying some Creatine powder  and i was wondering if it would have any  negative affects towards my  body due to the "Vegan Diet"

Would like to know what yall think?

I would stay away from supplements(excluding b12) they are a waste of money and I would say you're better off without them. If you have any doubts about building muscle on 811 you should take a look at chris califano's website.

Eat lots of calories, im not sure of your height of weight, i'm 5 11 and 165lbs and whats worked for me in the gym adding strength is 4000+ calories per day

lol PSS.. you don't gain muscle from food but from lifting weights then rest/recover:)

I won't take creatine for sure..

Just eat your fruits, veggies, some nuts and seeds and you'll be fine!

Rawbert is right. You can gain muscle on any diet but what causes you to build and create muscle is the  stress put on your muscles during training.
Thanks for the Feedbacks, Yea i think i might just let the Creatine Slip.. So what exactly do you eat? I'm 5"9 and a half and weigh 148.. I'm trying to get myself up to 175 at least but it's going to take awhile..I'm just looking for an eating strategy that would give me energy and strength to reach that goal..

If your goal is to go from weighing 148 pounds to weighing 175 pounds you can certainly do that on this diet / lifestyle as long as you are willing to work for it.  

 

If you are looking for a "shortcut" simply train smart and give your body sufficient recovery time rather than spending your money on something like "Creatine". 

Dates, Bananas, orange juice, melons, mangoes, i blend and strain purple grapes to make a killer grape juice, lots of datorade, huge green salads every couple of days, plantains are good, papayas are nice if you are in a tropical country, love figs i eat as much of them as i can and i eat lots of durian, avocados one twice or thrice a week.

Sweet n juicy in the morning, mangoes, orange juice, melons or any type of smoothie.

mid-day/lunch. dates, mangoes, bananas or whatever fruit.

another meal the same as above.

dinner. massive salad, mangoes, bananas or other good fruit i like
How do you achieve 4,000 cals on a raw diet??
Bananas and dates year round.

Mangoes, persimmons and grapes when in season.

I'm also 5"9.5' and my end goal is also about 170-180lbs I started at 143lbs 1.5 years ago and am at 158 right now (15lbs gain). I know it's muscle as my abs are still visible. It's pretty simple, here's my advice:

Eat HEAPS (aim for 4000 calories, NEVER drop below 3000);
Train smart (listen to those who have what you want) I recommend Charlie Abel and Chris Califano (both are members here). Their advice was extremely helpful to me (training protocols, book recommendations etc);
Recover smart (sleep at least 10 hours per night);
Stay hydrated (pee clear 12 times per day).

This is all pretty standard 30bad stuff but the last this is the most important:

CONSISTENCY

Keep in mind that we will never gain muscle as fast as mainstream due to us not eating foods with GH in them or foods that cause our body to make excess GH (high protein). Be patient. Be logical. It will happen.

From the guy who could only do 2 chin ups 1.5 years ago.
Not to mention the excess water retention the mainstream retain in their muscles due to excess protein, creatine, salt and even steroids.

high protein foods cause our body to make more GH? i haven't heard that one before?
