30 Bananas a Day!

Yeah I get them a lot after I eat and/or drink a fruit meal/smoothie.

Even hours later I still have them.

Any help? Thanks.

I've gotta say from personal experience, it must be detox...My first two weeks of this I was practically fartfree, but last night, after a watermelon that didn't agree with me, I can say I feel your pain. It's gotta be detox...and i imagine it'll continue for a while. Monomeals might be a good suggestion, although I don't have too much experience with this yet. And definitely no fats w/fruit, of course. Haha gas is a difficult predicament because of course you gotta let it out, but this can be less than ideal if one works in an office or goes to school, etc. Good luck friend!

Mabe the smoothie is over whipped and you swallow the air bubbles.

I've been doing 811 for 3.5 years now and have never had an issue with farting until I started having regular smoothies 3 months ago.  I always preferred to just eat my fruit instead of blending it.  The last 3 months I've been farting so much it's ridiculous.  On days that I don't have smoothies it's not an issue.  I imagine it's from the air bubbles.

hmmm time for me to put the blender back in the cabinet perhaps... thanks :)

Oh thanks! Seems the blender is the common demoninator. Maybe if I lay off the blender, farts wont come.

I think food combining and probiotics can help improve air quality.

I've gotta say that I really DON'T think that it is your blender because I have the same problem and I don't tend to eat smoothies. I've been trying to figure out what is going on with my body myself.

Karrie, I had dreadful cramps and wind when I had some cooked food at a family party last week, only risotto and salad but it took me two days to feel optimum again. In a way it was great because I know I'm not going to be doing that again in a hurry!
