I have extremely fair skin and live at a high altitude. I burn every year no matter how careful I am. I have been raw for years, but recently switched to 811 about 4 months. It has been said eating a raw diet would make your skin less likely to burn. UNFORTUNATELY, it has not helped in the past few years. What do you suggest I eat to increase my natural protection from the sun? I would actually like to step out without searching out the shade this summer.

Be careful to build your skin up to the sun slowly, going out for shorter time intervals, when the sun isn't as powerful first. This works great for me! After 2 weeks of working up to it, I can be in the sun for basically as long as I want, no problem. All fruits and veggies, due to there high micro-nutrient and antioxidant content, will be beneficial :) but you still should be careful not to burn, because that is harmful to your skin.
