30 Bananas a Day!

Hey there,
I recently noticed a lot of hair loss until the point that I really feel an extreme difference!

Has anyone else noticed that before? What can I do to prevent + reverse it?
As I check what I eat with CRON-o-Meter I nearly always have too less Calcium, Iron and Selenium, but I don't know where to get more of these?

-Live healthfully on a consistent basis

-Eat enough fruits and greens to get 2500+ cals/day than you don't have to worry about specific nutrients.

A few people do experience hair thinning when they go 100% 811, it does come back in thicker in a couple of months.  Just make sure you are eating plenty of calories so that you know it's not coming from under eating.

MY hair fell out a lot when I first started this diet.  It stops falling out in a few months, then your hair will look better than ever. ;)

So I need patience....puh, not my strongest point ;)

At the people where the hair fell out: How much did fell out? I hope not all the hair? I have really long hair which looked healthy all the time so I am kind of freaking out if I have to wait about 4 years to have long, strong hair again ...

Enough calories is always a good point, I will keep an eye on that. Vitamin D as well, but I am daily in the sun, so this should not be such a big problem.

But another thing: If I am not following 801010 100% but am also sometimes adding cooked beans, lentils, pasta and rice to my food, does this mean that it effects the hair growth negative as well? How come that so many people that live unhealthy have great hair? (finding this unfair at the moment...)

hey steffi! i know this is 3 years too late, but just wanting to see how your hair loss/regrowth is going? ive been 801010 for 5+ months now and have noticed a lot of hair loss so i'm kinda questioning my decisions. any progress for you? any help/advice would be MUCH appreciated. I hope you're doing well and thank you!

i experienced extreme hairloss too not because of the diet particuarly but cus i had anorexia for 6 month so i was really malnourished after around 3 month itt went away on its own and grew back very fast and even thicker than before.

for the selenium:

white mushrooms

spinach, broccoli, cabbage

brown rice

 brazil nuts

chia seeds /flax seeds

for the calcium:

kale, collard greens, broccoli, raw fennel, artichocke

black berries

dried apricots, figs, dates

oranges (especially the white skin unterneath the thick orange skin)

amaranth

and the iron:

spinach

blackbeans, black eyed peas, chickpeas, soybeans

swiss chard, turnip leafs, bok choy, kale, brussel sprouts

potatoes

bulgur, millet

raisins, dried apricots

watermelon

sesame seeds
