just received word of this from my friend david sztybel.
it is a very well-organized video by Cypress Ranch High School.
it's not my type of music, but that's because i like classical ... though i'll admit it probably wouldn't work quite the same to beethoven's 5th symphony.

now if only most of them could figure out that bullying also appears because of their day-to-day actions if they support of the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse and murder of animals ... and how that realization would affect the very cause they are fighting for here!
bullying is but a subset of oppression.

some of the lyrics may be good, but i can't make out the words in this sort of music either too well.

I feel with everyone who got bullyied at school.. it's really so sad :( I got bullyied because I my best friend (she was 2 years in our class) was handicapped (she was only 56 cm tall - but everything else was normal) and I was the only one who spent time with her and others only made fun of her (and me also)..
I'm happy that school is finished now and I can surround myself with so wonderful people like you are :-)

i worked for many years for the rights of kids who had been labeled 'handicapped', 'retarded', 'slow', 'different'. so i know what you mean. every now and then, a joan of arc would brave the peer pressure and stand strong alongside the victim, just as you did!
to endure torment on behalf of another preserves the dignity of the species against the odds!
your action demonstrates the veracity of these words:
understand that compassion's closest relative is courage. those who protest atrocity, those who oppose cruelty, those who rescue sentient beings from torture and death, do so because of their compassion and also because of their courage.
i'm happy you are here too.

I think it is so important to help those who are not that strong as we are, who need shelter, help and support.. I will never understand why people often are so cruel to others, just because they look or behave different :( ... or how they treat animals.. it is so so sad. I saw on your page that you are also involved in helping animals. What WONDERFUL work you do!!! I wish everyone would think like you.
We own a little private animalshelter here (just my granny, my mum and me run it) where we give dogs a new home untill they find a new, lovely family.. most of the dogs are from "killing-stations" (I don't know how to translate ) from Serbia, Slovakia and Czech who had been abused horribly by human..
(20 min. ago my mum started driving to highway to meet a lady from the shelter of Bratislava(Czech) - she will bring us a dog.. someone cut off his entire tongue! We don't know if he will survive.. or if a dog can life without a tongue..)
But if we look in the eyes of a saved animal everything is worth it.. they give SO MUCH love!
