I havent put this in the fitness section as its more of an 'experiment'. Im doing some personal 'research' on raw fooders. What is your most recent 10k time. All out effort. Wheelchair or running. To make it more objective, please use a measured 10k course and ideally a loop course. This is going to answer a lot of peoples questions why they struggle with not getting the body they want.
Please provide date and time. With minutes AND seconds as your watch says. Thanks.
My most recent 10k time was 36:07 in March 29th, 2011.

I will have an exact time after I race. I can say that my endurance has improved dramatically over the last few weeks. Over the past 3 days, I have banked 43.5 miles running, 2.5 hours roller skating and 2 hours of calisthenics. My issue is finding things to do that will use up my energy.
Permalink Reply by Agurk on May 24, 2011 at 4:42pm My most recent 10k time is 35:57. I ran that time some months ago and have tried to run a half marathon after my 10k (one week) and i finished in 1:16:26, in a control measured track. I am most pleased with my half marathon my time. I passed 10k on 36:28 and the next 10 km went on 36:16.
My diet don't consist of 100 % fruit and veggies, but I am trying to increase my intake (I live with my parents, so I can't eat just fruit)
PS: I am 17 years old
Permalink Reply by Chris Randall on May 25, 2011 at 2:21am Hey Aqurk, I live with my parents, who are the furthest thing from HCRV, and have been vegan since vegetarian since Feb. '10, vegan since May '10, and 811RV since Oct. '10 (I was 17 at the time and am now 18). It's easy man! Sure, it's repulsive and sad seeing them cooking and eating my friends (animal friends), but they aren't going to change overnight (if at all) so just keep it fun and light hearted. Eat your fruit with them, go to all of the family gatherings and just show everyone how fun and easy being a vegan or HCRV is! Before I went 811 I had learned to cook for myself long before that, as I didn't want any part of what my parents were serving. I no longer really have a use for that skill anymore, but before I went 811 it came in handy when I decided to quit eating animal pieces and excretions!
Go for it man!
Chris

Permalink Reply by Ryan Harger on May 24, 2011 at 5:55pm Not a 100% raw fooder(yet), but I eat mostly a fruit and veggie diet and figured the data might still be useful.
I don't have an actual 10k course, though I have a route that's a bit under that is just over 6 miles; and my best time is 52:41, set about a month ago. Definitely slower than many people here, and progress on my running ability has not been as I hoped, but that is due to several factors, which I believe diet is actually the least of. Still, I expect I'll at least break a 50 minute 10k this year without a problem, and hopefully a 40 minute 10k next year; though I don't really have a 10k goal at this time. My goals for this Spring were a sub 24 minute 5k, and to run a marathon(hopefully in under four hours), neither of which have happened yet. Hopefully I'll eventually take care of the other issues plaguing me, and my results will really take off.
My best 10k is 33.27 in Sep 2010
Not 100% LFRV, but 100% non stimulant and vegan
