30 Bananas a Day!

I just noticed that Eco-Vegan Gal (Whitney Laurisen) has posted a couple of 80/10/10 recipe videos up.  She is vegan blogger with a pretty big following so it's cool to see her giving 811 some exposure.  She says she is in the middle of reading the book and really enjoying trying the recipes.  Comment on this video and thank her for showcasing 80/10/10 recipes!

First of all, this is awesome.  But their ideas about portion size is a bit unrealistic.  They ate maybe 300 calories and were like "that was SO filling." :)

Haha, well she did say she's only halfway thru the book, so probably still transitioning... It takes a while to get used to eating 8+ bananas or 2 heads of lettuce in a meal! Haha

Greenmama, I'm with you on the portion size.  I would have eaten the entire size of each meal with probably a side salad on the soup entre.

Of course they are stuffed - it was real food!  LOL

I didn't notice that, and I'm not too  concerned.  Just showing people that it's simple easy to make great tasting recipes is really great PR.  She even mentions that it's "not just about eating fruit and large mono meals".  I thought that was awesome.

No biggie Ben.  It was awesome.  And I got to watch 2 other meals from a rawcook book I have and those would be great to have on my overt fat day each week.

Thanks again.

Ben this was wonderful to watch here on 30BAD.  I'm subscribing to her and am grateful to find more people going 80/10/10 because it tasts so darn good and is good for you too.

P.S. I agree with Greenmama about portion size.  Of course they don't realize the issue with calorie restriction being bunk.  LOL
