Following a conversation with a friend of mine who was very chuffed that she'd lost a stone in 4 weeks following 'slimming world', I have been feeling really p****d off.
I am tying to lose weight by eating the obvious, but feel my progress is slow. As my husband says; Slimming clubs get people to lose weight temporarily, and that means they get repeat business. I admit that I am a little jealous, but I can't understand how it is possible to lose weight when my friend is so unhealthy.
She saw all my bananas and said that she has to cut down on them because they have too much sugar, but prefers to replace her sugary drinks with aspartame sugar free ones- I don't get it!
Feeling very low today....................in the fruit I must TRUST.

Permalink Reply by Sofie Kovalenko on March 16, 2012 at 4:33am yeah, she could be skinny .. but that doesnt mean un-healthy. i have friends who are thin, watch what they eat (calorie restrict) but eat junk all the time .. they get sick all the time. me? im a fat skinny person ... but im working out my diet and know i need to exercise to get toned. i havent been sick in a few years ...
i dont want to be skinny on the outside and rotting on the inside. i dont want to run and depend on stiumulants like coffee to have energy ...

Permalink Reply by Josh Fossgreen on March 16, 2012 at 4:35am Aspartame is some messed up stuff. Your friend might want to research it before consuming any more, she'd be better off with white sugar.
Quick weight loss and healthy weight loss are not the same thing. Your husband is right that quick weight loss usually means gaining it all back when the calorie restriction diet that incurred the weight los inevitably fails.
Remember that nobody (that I know of) who follows this diet for long enough is overweight. Literally nobody!
Also, you can always look for places where you can improve your lifestyle to maximize weight loss. Things like:
1) Eating enough calories
2) Drinking enough water
3) Getting enough exercise (don't push too hard if you haven't been exercising, just do what you can)
4) Getting enough sleep

801010 is not a diet program - its also repairs, making your insides healthy and as a result your body naturally slims.
it takes time to repair your insides - that girl your talking about is going to wear a very painful, diseased life when she gets older when her body cant take it anymore.
never forget - quick loose = quick gain - she will put it all back on and you will be laughing.
you want to be healhty, vibrant + slim not a unhealhty, emply + skinny.
