Another win in the local 5k Park Run event on the Gold Coast. I wish more people would turn up considering the population density we have and the great climate but so many people are fatigued from their meat loving aussie diets we only get 20-100 runners each week depending on the weather.
Here is the photo from today. Coming into the last km I opened up the legs ftw.
Park Run is a great weekly 5k event that happens all over the world. See if there is a park run in your local area. They are free, timed, measured and a great movement that is spreading internationally. Contact your local running club to get one started if they havent already.
