Does sunlight help acne on back?

My back has had it for like 12 years, it's flared up a little in the last few weeks, been HCRV for 4 weeks. I want to go to the beach and lay around. Haven't tanned or been out in the sun with my shirt off in a while.

Will sunlight help at all, what has happened in your experiences?
