DO you guys not go to raw food meetup and raw potlucks because of your 811 diet

DO you guys not go to raw food meetup and raw potlucks because of your 811 diet.

Or even raw food restaurants.

You would figure they would make 811 options, or LFRV options, salt and oil free recipes too, if they are trying to get our money?

I mean, technically they can make recipes just to your liking and there are juices there. Or at potlucks you can bring your own dish.

I met a few raw vegans who never go because they can't eat food they didnt make themselves.

I also met 811ers who just go to socialize and do not eat anything and it always weirds people out.

Me myself, I go and make stuff like pureed mango with strawberries or papaya smoothies..or if I have anything I have been trying to get rid of I take that.

At one raw vegan potluck someone brought fried chicken. Noone said anything. My mom who I brought to eat some raw food ate some, I was pissed.

But usually I have a good time.

Some people don;t eat anything sweet, others no oil, others nothing with salt..and then there is me, only fruit and undressed greens

I don't go because I strive to be 811. If I take so much as a bite of something gourmet i go back. it is unfortunate. i'm not sure of the best way to go about bringing something everyone will enjoy and not also eating anything else.

My boyfriend and I go to a raw vegan potluck every Wednesday. Even though I live in a City of around 20,000 we have two raw vegan restaurants. They have tons of 811 options, and you can customize anything on the menu.
The potlucks are held at a restaurant/health centre called "Zen Zero".
I bring along an 811 dish every week, and always have people asking for recipes! Also, many of the gourmet raw fooders there have been asking about 811, and they've been bringing dishes that are salt and oil free.
A couple of them have visited 30bad, although they commented that this site is a "congested mess". They've also visited foodnsport!

I could travel down to Parksville for a day sometime too. Have you been to the raw restaurant in Qualicum? It's quite good...although I went there before I started 811.
I had actually applied to work at Naked Naturals before my boyfriend and I moved to the Comox Valley.

811's on Vancouver Island! Wooo!

Kev, that'd be great. When did you move to Comox?
