Okay so I don't have much experience with blended meals and have only even tried blending my fruit just the other day with bananas. At the moment I've only tried blending a few times and I still couldn't eat the blended meal in a shorter time than eating the fruit whole. I've been told to add more water to be able to drink the meal faster so I will be trying that.
Anyways. I'm still unsure if I can make the fruit I have into blended meals. Here is what I usually purchase from my area: Oranges, Apples, Bananas, Romaine lettuce, Green and Red leaf Lettuce. I also buy dates from the date people, but it's getting later in the season now so I'm not sure how much of a stable they will be.
I really have no clue when it comes to blending fruits or veggies. I've been eating all these fruits and veggies as mono meals so should I just blend them the same? For example, just blend apples by themselves or just blend oranges by themselves. I know I will probably need to blend some dates with my greens just to make it taste more sweet, but the rest I really don't have any idea about.
I don't want to experiment too much because I barely can afford 3000 calories a day of fruit as it is right now.
Please keep in my that I do eat only 3000 calories a day I don't have the money to do like, 2000 calorie date smoothies everyday or something.
Any advice or meal tips for these fruit I've listed will be greatly appreciated. Also thanks to everyone who has already given me some advice. Y'all are awesome.

Bananas by themselves are awesome... dates by themselves are awesome...apples go well with greens and oranges mix well with lots of things...if you have a good blender you could make orange juice in the blender but to me smoothiers are meant to be smooth and kinda a thicker consistency than juice, so I usually use dates, bananas or mangoes as my base...or greens if its a green smoothies. Check out the recipe section here.
Permalink Reply by Brian on January 12, 2012 at 4:43am Thanks for the advice Mera. Well faster is much easier in my book. I have yet to see if its as enjoyable as eating fruit whole, but lately speed has become suddenly more important to me than simply taking my time and eating fruit in there whole form.
You know I totally spaced about there being a recipe section.
