30 Bananas a Day!

I know it's not part of 811 protocol but does anyone have any experiences they want to share? positive or negative? if not, are there any reasons why you've never done it?

merci!

I tried it a few times at home with a Colema board. It felt interesting... it was a huge hassle to set up, and clean up especially. I can't really isolate that experience from the clay shakes I was drinking though, so I don't know what it would be like to supplement an 811 diet with colonics. I certainly won't be trying. I don't think there's any convincing reason why we need to try to rush our body into 'cleansing,' and any attempt to do so is probably more harmful than beneficial.
I have a close friend who did it one time and got really sick and then broke out in lesions all over her back which she still has many years later.

I did it 4 times and had no problems, it seemed to feel good but I would never do it again due to the risks plus of the long term consequences I've read about.
It's the bile that makes it smell like that, if you would have smashed them, you won't find anything hard or crystallized. I did it myself once and smashed them up, they are just the oil you drank. As far as the other cleanse, it irritates the colon which makes the mucus and again bile can smell very bad. I've read 'cleanse and purify thyself' I would highly recommend the book 'the 80/10/10 diet' which covers cleansing methods.
i did a colonic once, the therapist said it was the cleanest colon she has ever seen. i felt like i just blew 90$..lol!

why i dont rate em?
99% do the 'binge and colonic' cycle. matt monarch, fred bisci, brian clement and the gang..binge out on nuts, gourmet raw and or cooked food and 'detox' with a series of colonics.

pumping water the WRONG direction up the colon just forces old crap, worms, debri etc up into places where that stuff shouldnt be.

you lose a lot of good bacteria, but i guess if we have mastercard, we can always buy some more..

the clay shakes get crapped out and then someone tells you to smile whlist they take a photo of 'muciod plaque' that just came out of you. but where did the clay, psyllium husks and harsh herbs go? sshhh, youll ruin the magic show that peeps just paid a few hundred dollars to s*** out some clay and herbs that moulded like your colon..

sleep
water
sugar

if you need to stick pipes up the bum, we surely aint getting enough of the above 3.. :)
mucoid plaque simply does not exist. ask any colon surgeon...go to any med school and talk with the students. i have. no mucoid plaque..but diverticulitis does occur and 811 lets the body take care of that too.
I had 12 series of colonics done about 4 years ago when I was sick. Wouldn't do them again. I didn't know about fasting back then or 811. Would have tried either of them before the colonics. I can't say they were enjoyable either. I remember that for a week after each colonic my bowels seemed out of sorts and food got backed up (bloated). Nothing like a pipe up the butt to start your day off in the morning though (I joke).

I've also completed intestinal cleanses using the bentonite clay, psyllium husk and herbs. Nothing came of it. No mucoid plaque, no foul smelling goo, nada. Complete waste of time in my opinion. 30 Days of drinking awful clay and fiber shakes. Barf! Totally not worth it.

I'm no longer convinced that people have this old mucoid plaque gunk in their colons. I have a friend who has looked inside the intestines of dead people and found no such thing.

I would give colon hydrotherapy two thumbs down.
Gravity method colonics are a miracle. They involve no machines and no pressure and so stop and release blockages instead of shoving them back up further like the machine colonics do.
I think they are necessary for someone who grew up eating "SAD" to make their transition easier. I found them to be great for me to help me transition. If someone goes raw overnight without transition or getting colonics they are going to feel extremely bloated because all the old trapped matter has been awakened.

Your body is not equipped to pass McDonalds chemicals and partially hydrogenated peanut butter and you need the help of colonics to get that stuff out in order to fully reap the benefits of a raw food diet.
Some (especially men) have a very strong bowel that pushes things out easier, but if you have any history of constipation colonics are a great tool to feel better while moving towards a raw diet.
Once you have been 811 for a while you no longer need them.

Yeah Brian Clement and his sprouts. Sprouts are very difficult to eliminate properly. Fruit is the cleanest fuel!
Many years ago I followed the teachings of Norman Walker - a man who lived to 99 years of age on mainly raw food, freshly squeezed vege juices, moderate exercise and regular colonics.

Having the food & juices under control, I needed to find somewhere to explore the colonics.... Eventually I came across a student of Walker who had spent time with him in the States and this guy had a colonic therapy business in Kings Cross Sydney.

We came to an agreement - I taught him Yoga in return for colonics.

He administered my first few colonics and it didn't take too long for me to sense what they were about and be able to gauge the inflow and outflow of water and therefore eventually self-administer my own therapy.
It was a good arrangement - Yoga at say 6am to 7am and then I'd get setup in one of the colonic rooms and gently and persistently flush out my colon for as long as it took.

What did I get out of this?
1/ No great mucoid plaque eruptions
2/ An opportunity to learn & experience how to have & give myself efficient gentle colonic irrigation
3/ And plenty of them, just like Norman Walker recommended
4/ A realisation of why some branches of Hatha Yoga place so much emphasis on abdominal colon exercises (because, we may hold unnecessary tension in this area)
5/ An eventual freedom from what had been an unknown area.

I haven't had any colonics for years and probably never will. But I know very well what they are, what they can do for me and what they can't do. For me, they never lived up to the idea of cleaning out mucus, worms, lumps bumps etc etc...But they did provide me with invaluable insights into unconscious tension in the body and helped improve my approach to Yoga.

Just as a footnote: During the time that I vigorously explored colonics, I did visit 2 other colonic clinics (had to pay $$$ for these) and they were both USELESS, if not DANGEROUS experiences. The administrators were incompetent in my opinion. The colonics were poorly administered with incorrect pressure and therefore doomed to fail AND they were both far too short in duration.
I had one colonic once and I didn't like it. It felt like a forced BM. I think if a person can't have a healthy BM or they keep eating garbage, they may have to have a colonic or an enema just to get things moving, but only if they also eat right so they aren't just clogging up the pipes right afterwards.

I felt better for a few hours after my colonic, but as soon as the food in my tummy moved down, things were the same. I went to have it done because I was having a lot of gap pain and pressure, probably because I kepot stacking meals without waiting for complete elimination, and I was probably eating some cooked food or miss-combining my food. I hadn't tried 811 at the time, so I was mostly raw, but not eating right. I don't think I was very active either.

Now that I eat so much fruit (especially bananas), I really think colonics are unnecessary. Bananas cured my major bowel and elimination issues. In fact, I used to be pretty obsessed with juice feasting and cleanses of all manner because I believed I had all kinds of rubbish to clean out. I thought I had to do something drastic and militant to cleanse. I didn't realize that eating all fruit and greens for even one day cleaned everything out without any feelings of deprivation (or penetration).

I feel so much better just eating lots of fruit and greens. My colon gets clean and my poo doesn't smell (unless I eat cooked food or something I shouldn't). I could never quite wrap my mind around the logic of forcing water up my bum to make things come out. I prefer to put yummy fruit in my mouth and let it push all the nasties out gently and pleasantly (not to mention it doesn't cost extra to eliminate). :) We evolved over millions of years. I think if we evolved to need colonics and enemas, we would come equipped with some sort of apparatus. When we eat clean, ripe, organic fruits and greens (which seems to be what we evolved to eat), and we live healthy, balanced lives with sun, movement, breath, sleep, sex, stretching, music, etc., our bodies do the work people are paying colon hydrotherapists to do.

What methos of colonic are you using guys?

Because, colonics helped me make my transition easier.

I don't feel any pressure at all. I was so relax and feel so good afterwards.

Never had one before. I thought about it, but never went through with it. Something I have been doing lately that has made elimination a cinch and better in my opinion is squatting on the toilet instead of sitting.

I'm doing this ever since I was a kid! My mother and father scolded me and said I might broke the bowl.lol
