30 Bananas a Day!

Hello! Just trying to find out what the majority opinion is on chia. Tomorrow hubby and I will be 100 percent raw (permanently) and want to add chia to our smoothies....but dont know if they are an overt fat or not?

 

I have tons of weight to lose, and while I'm not going raw just for weight loss by any means, I want to make sure I am doing it to the LETTER so I get awesome results and shed unwanted pounds.

 

HELP! lol

They have mostly omega 3, so they are very beneficial in my opinion. technically they are an overt fat, but you only need to eat 1 tbsp a day to get all the omega 3 you need. very few calories in that amount. i soak 1 tbsp in 6 oz of water over night (shake well) and then add this to a smoothie.
I am all for Chia. I LOVE making fresh squeezed orange juice and pouring in a little bit of chia. The chia thickens up the juice, but everything digests great.
